Nicole's Notes - Week of March 31, 2025

A long-term financial planning origin story, the Sundance Film Festival is moving to Boulder, and two of my favorite writers discuss organizing in dark times.

Red cliffs look orange in the setting sun. A desert landscape with junipers, pines, and cacti is in the foreground.
A desert sunset I encountered last week on a framily road trip to northern Arizona.

This week at City Council

This week, the Council will receive an update on its Long-Term Financial Strategy (LTFS) priority. Read more about the history of this work and why it is crucial to our city's future here.

Get engaged

City staff will host an informational meeting on Wednesday about updates at the Boulder Reservoir. Friday is the last day to visit the North 30th Street Preliminary Design virtual open house, but it's also the start of Boulder Arts Week!

Community Kudos

I heard the excitement all the way in Arizona, so I'm sure you've already heard that the Sundance Film Festival is moving to Boulder in 2027! Congratulations to everyone who worked diligently to help the festival find a new home in Colorado.
