What's new?
Many folks are concerned about local impacts of federal policy changes. Read the City Council and City Manager's open letter to the community here.
The city's new snow and ice response is also generating some community interest. Councilmember Schuchard braved Next Door to share his comments.
This week at City Council
At this week's virtual meeting, the Council will consider:
- aligning our accessory dwelling unit standards with new state law,
- renewing Boulder's cable franchise agreement with Comcast, and
- whether a Visit Boulder petition and plan to create a Lodging Business Assessment Area (LBAA) meet the city criteria to create a LBAA.
Get engaged
The City Council and Planning Board, and County Commissioners and Planning Commission, discuss A Boulder Today on Wednesday (2/5). Share your vision for A Boulder Future at engagement events on Friday (2/7) and Saturday (2/8).
Community Kudos
Thank you to CU Boulder and the Center for African and African American Studies for kicking off Black History Month with dance, music, and poetry.
Quote for the month
You done come too far to turn back now.
-Singer, songwriter, and producer Shaboozey
