- Sign up to speak at Open Comment or a Public Hearing at a Board or Commission meeting or a City Council meeting (how meetings work).
Economic Support
- Financial assistance programs can help with housing, childcare, food, utilities, and other basic needs.
- Findhelp.org connects community members with free or reduced-cost resources like food, housing, financial assistance, health care, and more.
- The city provides a list of local food banks and food support resources.
Crisis Support
- The suicide & crisis lifeline (988 on your phone) provides prevention and crisis support for people in emotional distress and their loved ones.
- The Hope Institute offers short-term crisis intervention and stabilization for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation.

Grant Opportunities
- Survive and Thrive grants support local childcare providers serving children 5 and under who were impacted by COVID-19 (including family, friend, and neighbor caregivers). They also support 501c3 and 501c19 nonprofits.
- Human Relations Fund grants help raise awareness of civil rights and human rights issues.
- Cultural grants support community projects, arts education projects, professional development scholarships, grant writing support, and more for organizations, individuals, and classrooms.
- The Denver Foundation funds 501(c)(3) organizations, resident-led groups in low-income neighborhoods, and regional or statewide collaborative efforts.
