The Area Agency on Aging provides assistance for Boulder County residents ages 60 and older. Older Adult Services provides additional programs and support for City of Boulder residents ages 60 and older.
Findhelp.org connects community members with local free or reduced-cost resources like food, housing, financial assistance, health care, and more.
The suicide & crisis lifeline (988 on your phone) offers free and confidential support for people in emotional distress, and prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones. The Hope Institute offers short-term crisis intervention and stabilization for individuals experiencing suicidal ideation.

Grant Opportunities
- Survive and Thrive grants help local childcare providers serving children 5 and under who were impacted by COVID-19 (including family, friend, and neighbor caregivers). They also support 501c3 and 501c19 nonprofits.
- Human Relations Fund grants help raise awareness of civil rights and human rights issues.
- Cultural grants support community projects, arts education projects, professional development scholarships, grant writing support, and more for organizations, individuals, and classrooms.
- The Denver Foundation funds 501(c)(3) organizations, groups of residents in low-income neighborhoods, and regional and state collaborative efforts.
